Lara Logan's appearance on CNN with Howard Kurtz was a well needed slap in the face for those who share the ridiculous belief that the media is somehow responsible for the bad news coming out of Iraq.

IN THIS VIDEO LL puts up a very strong defense for journalists in Iraq by explaining how security measures have restricted their access to locations of rebuilding efforts.
Understandably so, because the minute those utopian areas of Iraq begin getting media exposure, guess what happens...?

So, due to the fear of sabotage/acts of terror against women and children in the rebuilt areas, the military will not allow journalists in those areas to report; thereby leaving those journalists to report the ongoing and escalating conflict, which even in its own right can't be covered entirely.

In your previous post, you say the media has failed us for 9/11, yet they haven't failed us in Iraq?

The media failed to report on the questions surrounding 9/11 and their reporting in Iraq is almost an attempt at redemption or possibly finding a back door or hidden passage way that leads back to possible questioning of 9/11.
For that, they are being credited more generously.
It all leads back to 9/11.
